Captivate your senses with fragrant scents and refreshing tastes! Join A. Smith Bowman Distillery and Pearlescent Candle Co. for an evening sipping delicious cocktails and creating a new spring scent to spruce up your space.
Start the evening with a welcome cocktail and a charcuterie grazing table as you mingle and pick out your signature aroma. Move to the candle making portion while getting to indulge with 2 cocktails throughout the class.

For those guests that wish to participate in a distillery tour, it will start promptly at 5:30 p.m. Please arrive a few minutes early to get checked in.
Pearlescent Candle Co candle workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn the art of candle making from their expert candlers. You’ll get to make your own 10oz Iridescent Rainbow coconut-soy jar candle!
What’s included:
- One dual-wicked 10oz Iridescent Rainbow jar to create your 100% coconut-soy wax candle in.
- The option to dye your wax from 24 available colors. Your selected color will shine through your iridescent jar, highlighting the beautiful color you selected.
- Over 25 fragrance options including several fun Spring and Summer fragrances! You can also blend fragrances together to make your own personal aroma.
- Guided instruction
- Botanicals that you can add to the top of your candle.
- Pre-made labels, stickers, blank labels and markers to create your own label.
- Your candle must set and cure for 30 minutes (because they’ll still be liquid). You’ll have the option to pick up your candle the next day at the distillery OR you can hang out and finish sipping your cocktails until your candle is ready to go!
Important Notes:
Due to how late this event goes, it is a 21+ workshop/event. Minors are not allowed. Pearlescent Candle Co offers family friendly workshop options every day at their store in Spotsylvania Towne Centre.
Since you will be handling hot wax, a waiver is required to be signed before you begin your class. Any unsafe or overly drunk behavior will result in being removed from the class.
