Ingredients

  • 6 oz Ironclad Bourbon Whiskey
  • 6 oz apple cider
  • 2 oz maple syrup
  • 2 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • 3 whole cloves

how to prepare

Prep: Gather all ingredients, including the bourbon, cider, maple syrup, lemon juice, cinnamon stick, star anise, and cloves.

Mix: Combine the apple cider, maple syrup, lemon juice, and all whole spices in a saucepan or slow cooker.

Stir: Heat the mixture, stirring occasionally, for at least twenty minutes to allow the spices to fully infuse; then, stir in the bourbon whiskey.

Serve: Reduce the heat to low and ladle the warm cocktail directly into mugs or heat-safe glasses.
