Spend your afternoon with Leashes of Valor at A. Smith Bowman Distillery! Join us for a daytime hang where the bourbon’s flowing, the cigars are ready, and the food truck’s fired up with BBQ goodness!

Come hungry, come thirsty, and bring a friend who knows how to kick back. This isn’t your average Saturday – it’s one worth savoring.

• Admission is free, but guests can purchase drinks, food, & cigars on-site
• Outdoor seating, relaxed atmosphere, and good company
• Neat pours & Old Fashioned available for purchase
• Whitley BBQ & Co Food Truck
• Dapper Cigar Lounge set up outside on our lawn for guests to purchase and enjoy cigars
• Tours of the distillery – you can book in advance at Complimentary Distillery Tour | Virginia | A. Smith Bowman Distillery. We will allow walk-in tours as well, but space is limited.

“Leashes of Valor is a national nonprofit that provides highly-trained service dogs to post-9/11 veterans to help with symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and other “unseen wounds” of military service. Whenever possible, we source dogs from animal shelters and rescue organizations. Our goal is to enrich and improve the lives of both veterans and dogs: one leash saves two lives. Follow-up communication with our veterans continues as long as requested, and our grant program helps cover veterinary and other service dog-related expenses for veterans who cannot afford it.”
