Spooktacular Fun Awaits at the Annual Fall Festival and Haunted Trail!
South Central VA – Get ready for a spine-tingling good time as we welcome the fall season with open arms at the Annual Fall Festival and Haunted Trail, hosted by Sandy River Outdoor Adventures every Friday and Saturday night in October, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. This beloved community event promises to be bigger, better, and spookier than ever before!
Event Details:
6:00-10:00 pm every Friday and Saturday in October, starting on October 4th. Trail tours run every 10 minutes, with the last group starting at 9:50. The first hour is dedicated to the little monsters, with the scare factor jumping up starting at 7pm.

1. Haunted Trail: Prepare to be scared as you venture into our haunted trail, where spine-chilling surprises and eerie encounters lurk around every corner. It’s not for the faint of heart!
2. Pumpkin Patch: Pick the perfect pumpkin to take home and carve into a spooky masterpiece. Our pumpkin patch is brimming with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Paint kits and carving kits will be for sale to take home, or rent one and carve it on site!
3. Family-Friendly Activities: We haven’t forgotten about our younger guests! Enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo, face painting, and a bounce house.
4. Delicious Treats: Satisfy your cravings with a delectable array of fall treats, including caramel apples, hot cider, and mouthwatering snacks and baked goods from local food vendors.
5. Live Entertainment: Groove to the sounds of live music from 5-8pm each night, featuring talented local artists performing at the distillery, keeping spirits high throughout the event.
6. Costume Contest: Put on your most creative costume and enter our costume contest Saturday evening, October 26th at 7pm for a chance to win spooktacular prizes!
7. Community Spirit: The Fall Festival and Haunted Trail is a community event, and your participation supports local organizations and charities. It’s a win-win!
