Drift Flower
Ingredients:
2 oz Waterman Spirits Organic Vodka
1 oz Honeysuckle and Madagascar Vanilla Bean Syrup*
0.75 oz Fresh Squeezed Pineapple Juice
0.25 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
3 drops of 10% Saline Solution
Top cocktail with 6 dashes of Spiced Cherry Bark Bitters
*Honeysuckle and Madagascar Vanilla Bean Syrup
4 cups Honeysuckle Tea (2 honeysuckle tea bags steeped in boiling water)
1 cup locally sourced honey
4 cups cane sugar
.25 oz Rose Water
.25 oz Amaretto
Garnish: Pineapple Frond, Carnation, Orchid
Preparation:
Combine vodka, Honeysuckle and Madagascar Vanilla Bean Syrup, Pineapple Juice, Lime Juice, and Saline Solution in a Boston Shaker. Fill the tin with chip ice and shake for 15 seconds. Double strain over a glass bud vase filled with Crushed Ice. Top with Spiced Cherry Bark Bitters. Garnish with a Pineapple frond, Carnation and Orchid.
Honeysuckle and Madagascar Vanilla Bean Syrup:
Heat and stir all ingredients until sugar is dissolved. Remove tea bags if tea was made stovetop. Allow to cool, then store in a food safe container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
