Rosemary Gimlet

Ingredients

4 oz Tarnished Truth Fourth Handle Gin, or AVA Vodka

1 oz fresh lime juice

1 oz rosemary syrup

how to prepare

For the gimlet:
Add all ingredients into a shaker and shake vigorously
Strain into a martini glass
Garnish with rosemary sprig

For the syrup:
Add water, sugar and chopped rosemary leaves in a small saucepan, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is hot and sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool
Once cool, strain the rosemary syrup into a jar with a fine mesh sieve and store in refrigerator

Rosemary Syrup:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh rosemary leaves
