It’s an irresistibly refreshing gin cocktail—perfect for sipping year-round.

Ingredients

  • 1.5oz Watershed Gin
  • 1/2 oz Averna Amaro 1oz Blackberry Sage Syrup
  • 3/4 oz Lemon
  • 4-6 dashes El Guapo’s Polynesian Kiss Bitters
  • Float of sparkling wine (e.g. Cava)

how to prepare

Prep: Gather all ingredients. Combine the gin, amaro, blackberry sage syrup, lemon juice, and Polynesian Kiss Bitters into a cocktail shaker.

Mix: Fill the shaker with fresh ice.

Shake: Seal the shaker and shake vigorously until the mixture is thoroughly chilled and properly diluted.

Serve: Double strain the mixture over fresh ice into a chilled highball glass, leaving a small amount of room at the top. Top with a float of sparkling wine (Cava).

Garnish: Express the oils from a generous lemon peel twist over the drink, then place the twist on the rim or in the drink as a final aromatic flourish.
