Tarnished Truth Distilling Company is a unique, award-winning craft distillery founded by Virginia Beach natives Andrew Yancey and Josh Canada in 2013. The company is notably located inside the historic Cavalier Hotel in Virginia Beach, making it the nation’s only in-hotel distillery.
Inspired by the hotel’s storied past of gentlemen, scoundrels, and Prohibition-era indiscretions, Tarnished Truth crafts a superb portfolio of spirits that includes several expressions of High-Rye and Wheated Bourbon, Vodka, Gin, and specialty products like Bourbon Cream Liqueur. They emphasize a grain-to-glass experience, utilizing old and new distilling techniques.
