About
‘One of the most outstanding talents to have emerged through the Scottish folk scene in years’ —The Independent
‘Quietly, unforcefully and undeniably stunning’ —Mojo
Jim Malcolm is back! All the way from Scotland. Performing his unique blend of Scottish folk songs, traditional and new, along with a healthy dose of comedy, Jim will be at the distillery for an intimate, once in a year performance on Sunday night, October 29th. Cocktails and whisky will be available for purchase at the concert as well. Jim has been performing at Catoctin Creek for many years now, and his show is always a sell-out. We are grateful to have him back this year, after a three year hiatus during COVID. What’s more, this year, his talented wife, Susie Malcolm, will be performing alongside him!
Tickets are $25/pp.
Jim Malcolm is the ultimate Scots troubadour. Traveling the world with his guitar, harmonicas, and engaging wit, he sings the traditional songs of Scotland and his own masterfully crafted songs in a style which is modern and accessible, yet utterly authentic. He is highly regarded as an interpreter of the songs of Robert Burns, and has been described as “one of the finest singers in Scotland in any style”.
