Created by the family behind Old Virginia Hand Hewn Log Homes, the distillery brings the same hands-on approach used for more than 40 years building log homes across the United States. Instead of chisels and axes, Axe Handle uses grains, limestone water and oak barrels to create Virginia-made whiskey and craft spirits.
