Bold Rock Distillery is an extension of Bold Rock Hard Cider, founded in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Nellysford, Virginia. The parent company, established in 2012, is known for its commitment to quality and locally sourced ingredients, primarily Virginia and North Carolina apples.
The distillery operation, which is separate from their cider business, applies the same farm-to-glass philosophy, focusing on using premium, local ingredients. They produce a line of craft spirits including a five-times distilled Vodka made from American grains, a Straight Bourbon, a Gin infused with juniper and aromatic botanicals, and a popular line of fruit-infused apple whiskies. Their spirits are the foundation for their growing range of ready-to-drink craft cocktails. The spirits line is exclusively available at their Nellysford distillery location.
