KO Distilling was founded by lifelong friends and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy alumni Bill Karlson and John O’Mara in Manassas, VA. Their name honors their background, standing for “Karlson & O’Mara.” They focus on creating high-quality, craft spirits with local ingredients.

Their flagship product is the aged Bare Knuckle American Wheat Whiskey, known for its smoothness and approachable flavor. They also produce a variety of rye and bourbon expressions, emphasizing a commitment to quality and transparency in their process.
