Laird & Company holds the title of America’s oldest licensed distillery, originally established in 1780 in New Jersey. They are historically renowned for producing the vast majority of all Applejack and American Apple Brandy on the market.
While headquartered in New Jersey, the company sources all the apples for its core products from central Virginia. Furthermore, they currently perform all of their modern distillation and bottling operations at their facility in North Garden, Virginia, making them a significant part of the state’s spirits industry.
