Roosters Rise-N-Shine Distillery, located in Moneta, Virginia, crafts authentic Southern spirits rooted in family tradition. The distillery began with a classic moonshine recipe from Franklin County native Ronald “Rooster” Hodges, the family patriarch, and has since expanded to feature a variety of flavored moonshines—including watermelon, root beer, pecan, and blackberry—as well as peach whiskey and vodka. Every bottle reflects pride in Southern flavor and a commitment to quality.
Honoring its heritage as part of Franklin County, known as the Moonshine Capital of the World, the distillery incorporates imagery of the family’s historic homeplace in the Callaway Mountains on its labels.
