Salty Stash Distillery, located in Southwest Virginia, is a family-owned craft distillery rooted in generations of farming, hard work, and a passion for learning new crafts. Building on over a decade of experience in quality wine production, the founders applied their knowledge of delicate fermentation to create exceptional brandies and other distilled spirits. In 2020, they expanded their craft from wine to spirits, establishing Salty Stash Distillery as a destination for high-quality, locally inspired liquors.

Housed in a historic building that began as a bank in 1991 and later served as a physician’s office, the distillery retains original vaults and safes while offering a modern production space filled with rustic and intriguing décor. Visitors can enjoy hands-on distillation experiences, crafting their own neutral vodka or uniquely flavored gin, learning the techniques and additives used by the distillers. Salty Stash honors Southwest Virginia’s rich history of moonshining while producing exceptional, family-crafted spirits designed to be savored.
